Well the rate they give us has to be around 15% they never said what it was and i totally forgot to ask being side tracked about finally getting a new car, But calculating on what the repayments are to what the banks offering it works out around $20000 more in interest to go through toyota and only $9000 in interest to go through RACV Finance or the resources credit union, so today if they arnt going to drop there rate looks like we wont be picking up the car today and be heading to the banks for some financeSo be carefull when going through toyota finance, it like they give us a good deal with the car but then jacked the finance up

A dealer actually told me that they have inflated interest rates to get back what they had lost in giving a good deal on a car.
I sourced my finance from an independent broker so the car yard wouldn't scam any extra out of me.

Guess what it doesn't, or at least it didn't then. But they told me verbally that I was covered. ( Yeah right!)

Well
Been online and on the phone, no such thing as a Toyota Prado Altitude, even telling one person at GIO to go to the website and have a look, they did , they seen the Altitude and then said there is no such car......
Also had multiple try and sell me cover on a 200series altitude it must be that one apparently
OK so no cover from
AAMI
GIO
Shannons
Allianz
NRMA (what a cr@p online system)
Anyone had any joy even a stupid quote from anyone
Im lucky enough not to have to finance my car BUT if they think Im going to take it without being covered THEY'RE NUTS.
BJ
PS guys just a hint those financing there 4by's , wouldnt it be better to withdraw the money from maybe your homeloan???just a thought itll be cheaper than what Ive been reading here. and make bulk extra payements , like I said just a thought dont shoot me down in flames

Maybe try Suncorp insurance. I have been with them for years and they are excellent.

Ahh, I see the problem with the insurance companies now. You need to get the insurance companies to look up the Prado "Alititude" not "Altitude" because Toyota still haven't corrected their spelling error: http://www.toyota.com.au/prado/speci...on-petrol-auto"Sure it’s quiet, for a diesel, but that’s like being well-behaved… for a murderer."- Jeremy Clarkson
