Ok lads got it all sussed out.
Specs are as follows
It is a GXL build with the following extras
Leather Accented Interior
Tilt & Slide Moon Roof
7” Electro Multi-Vision Touch Screen incorporating DVD base sat nav
6 Disc in-dash CD/DVD changer & remote control audio system with 14 speakers
Back guide monitor
Rear seat entertainment system with 3 wireless headphones

City Toyota Perth quoted me $3k above gxl pricing
Morley Toyota quoted me $5k above gxl pricing

I got a ripper deal from Nathan at city Toyota in Perth
And expect to pick up the car just after 5th march.

Can you tell me what price you got the altitude for?? Have one on order but they still havent been able to tell me the best price they can do it for just that its rrp is $5000 more then the rrp for the standard gxl so have my name on the standard gxl on just incase its gonna be to much

RRP on std GXL is about 65k, so add 5k for altitude and u looking at 70k or more for a diesel.

My inside car salesman tells me that a good negotiator will get to within $500.00 of the best fleet deal.

I got $8000.00 off RRP on my 150 on a private deal.

When i was about to purchase my prado, i started negotiating with the retail sales guy. Then i decided on a novated lease after all and the fleet sales guy struggled to provide the same discount. The actual fleet discount depending on the company is only about a 1000 dollar, so in the end fleet or private buy should not be that different. I paid 57k for a gxl manual white in april last year

I paid 58k for an auto v6 GXL drive away with 150 lts of fuel. I'd be interested in negotiating an Altitude for ya Hutch but you have to supply the money and beer

I had a minor update today on the Altitude. Due to arrive on East Coast mid Feb and released shortly there after. Confirmation of the $5k on top of the GXL pricing and final price will be made available for fleet and private early to mid Feb.

Unfortunatly not much to add but it's all I was given.

yeah but we were getting the prado gxl standard for $60000 drive away so i would be expecting to pay around $64000 $65000 for the altitude.

Mate had picked up a VX TD Auto about 8-9 months ago from a sydney dealer for 70k flat. I didn't believe him either until he showed me the receipt.

I guess i wouldnt want to be paying no more than 65-66k for an altitude.

Altitude order confirmation with delivery date

I have a signed a contract for a V6 Petrol Auto GXL Altitude for a flat $65,000 no more to pay. Private purchase in QLD. Production slot second week in Feb and delivery approx. 4 weeks later. I will be converting to dual petrol/LPG for $2k after government rebate. Much more performance than Diesel and much cheaper to run. Been running this set up on existing 2003 Prado GXL.
