Finally sorted my new 150 out. Got a call from the dealer yesterday telling me the end of April delivery after my December order.

After a few phone calls to the dealer principal, I secured a 2012 Prado GXL turbo diesel manual silver colour. The dealer gets it next week and then its visiting ARB before I get it.

Pretty happy now....

pradopoint has a eleven page ramble about this very subject and it's dead boring and a waste of server space...

Well after many moons my VX finally was delivered yesterday. I can say that I am VERY impressed with the quality and features of this vehicle.

As soon as I drove in the driveway, up went the garage door and out came the necessary equipment to remove the dealer sticker and apply the PradoPoint sticker.

My 4 month waiting journey was exciting, especially being spurred on by this excellent website, but now the fun begins.

Agree with you Jeff. Picked up the Kakadu on Friday and done 1000 km's over the weekend, build quality is great and is very refined. Surprised by power also, better than I expected from the D4D. Had plenty of time to play with features but confused by a couple things, will open another thread.

After waiting patiently for 3 and a half weeks my dealer tells me today that Im in the kew for an April Build.

I failed to ask him what this means.....does this mean my 150 gets built in April or I take delivery in April, or both???

He originally told us late March pick up so Im hoping this is only adding a month to the pain..

April build, that seems to make a gap if people are getting theirs ordered Feb for late March delivery. There is plenty of V6 models in yards at the moment. We cancelled an order for a Graphite t/D A/T GXL in Brisbane they had 5 people wanting to buy before we cancelled as we went to the Altitude mid order.

Hi Tsoobi, sounds like mine is on the same boat as yours. Due to arrive on Melbourne Docks on Feb 27, into the dealer on March 9 and then I get it a few days later, possibly the 15th, but they said it might be sooner.
