I to have been thinking about the GVM, as my car now has permantly attached, winch 27kgs, dual battery steup, 27kg, bar 45kg, lights and electronics 7kg, bigger tyres 10kg, total at the front =116kg approx, add the rear, drawers 0kg (as the seats come out at the same weight), towbar 30kg, suspension mods 5kg, recovery gear (stays in the car) 50kg total rear = 85kg, then general gear rack 20kg, awning 15kg, shovel and holders 5kg, extra protection plates and sliders 30kg (ordered not on yetOriginally posted by Hutch View Post

This now has to come off the payload (which includes fat bastards like me) and looks like if I want to be legal then it'll be a foam six pack esky, $29.00 Kmart 2 man tent, loaf of bread and a jar of peanut paste. Just goes to show how important suspension upgrades are to the handling and safety of the car.
