Hi Guys,
I removed the 3rd row seats from my 150 series GXL in August last year and have not bothered putting them back in the car however I was moving them to a more permanent storage location at home and discovered a weird thing.
When I looked at the metal frame that bolts into the car, and the seat slides on it appears it was never painted. At first I thought it might have been coated with a galvanising type coating but it looks like where I have touched it there is some surface rust and it looks like the welds have never been painted over.
I will try to get some pics in the next few days, but to me it doesn't seem like the kind of thing I would expect from a $60k car - especially one likely to spend at least some of its life exposed to salt air.
