Or the Airtech looks more modern (suits the modern 150) the ARB looks more 60 series land cruiser.
Still just comes back to personal preference really. My tongue was firmly in my cheek with those comments, I think they are both very good products and certainly wouldn't bag anyone for choosing one over the other. Having said that, I don't really like the look of the Airtech snorkel, even on the 150, that's why I went for the Safari, despite the fact it's dashed my hopes of having the Arctic Trucks conversion done :'(
Silver 150 D4D Manual. ARB winch bar, Safari snorkel, Tigerz11 12000lb 2 speed winch, Lightforce 70W HID XGTs, ABR Sidewinder dual battery system, ABR air compressor, Powerful 4X4 roof rack, Tigerz11 awning, ARB imitation rooftop tent, 40L Gold Engel to keep the Coke cold.
The Safari looks more "manly", the Airtech more "feminine", that's my rationalisation anyway I think they are both very good quality and it just comes down to personal preference.
Dave.
Dave, have to agree the Safari looks more "manly" does look Thicker with a bigger end for rotation....... but I only have 120, you guys have 150, an extra 30 on me, does come down to preference as long as it gets the job done - to keep things clean

My Safari on the current 120 blocks a bit of the view. Does the Airtech block much or is it better designed for vision than the Safari? I'm leaning towards the Airtech on the new 150.

Had a Safari on my 120, Airtec on my 150. My personal opinion is the Airtec is way better looking on the 150, blends in with the sleek lines and looks neat and compact. Must agree with the dated look of the Safari and Airtec even changed shape of the head between the 120 and 150 series. Go the Airtec.

Got the airtec installed a few days ago and very happy with it bar one little rattle/flutter type sound coming from the head when under load. I put my hand out the window to the snorkel while driving and it does have a suprising amount of vibration, but as soon as i wind down the window i can no longer hear the noise for the air. It kind of sounds like the mesh maybe rattling a little or something when max vibration is on. Anyone know or had similar?
Would a seal thats leaking cause that kind of noise?
Sorted.. there was a 10mm nut sitting on top of the pipe that runs in the wheel arch rattling against the panel..
Guess i'll be going to see the installers tomorrow morning to return there pliers i found in the bull bar, give them the bill for adjusting the exhaust to clear the towbar and returning their nut and asking where did it come from/is it part of the snorkel kit.
