  • Blue Storm Pro's and Cons.

    Hi all.

As the title suggests I am after the pro's and cons of the Blue Storm colour. I really like it but the boss isn't to sure about it. She wants a silver one.

I'm after any/all good or bad points for Blue Storm owners.

    Cheers

    Steve

      Hi Steve,
The blue colour changes in different times of daylight, and there are not many on the road. The blue and black theme looks good to me.
Go on Steve Unleash Yourself LOL

      Cheers Derek

Just do it, don't go silver that's too boring! The blue storm colour is great, it looks quite dark in low light and in bright sunlight it looks light blue. I don't think it gets dirty quicker than other colours and besides they look better with a bit of mud on them

        Cheers Matt

Don't misinterpret my points... I say go for it... and I don't own a blue Prado (unlike Chewbacca and derek11).

I like the blue colour because it's not various shades of black, grey or white like most of them on the road so it makes it a bit different. I was hesitant about the colour coded bar though. I thought it might be overdoing the blue but now it's on, I'm very happy with it. Blue also helps make it stands out when the wife has forgotten where she parked (happens more often than you'd think).

Cheers for the responses guy. I think I have the all clear for a Blue Storm one so hopefully that's the way it will go.

We're also very happy with our Blue Storm GXL with colour coded ARB bar. It's a bit different from the crowd. It does show the dirt more than our previous white Prado but what the heck!!

Make sure you buy plenty of black turtle wax to cover the scratches..... Speaking from experience with this colour!

I just washed it less, that kept them covered.

Had the silver in the 120, much easier to clean than my current blue storm 150 with more pin striping but hey its made to go bush, I still love the blue !!!!!
