It will be interesting to see how many of the changes for the new lexus are actually implemented to the Prado (specifically the AU model). I was always under the impression that Lexus was Toyota's "Luxury" arm, therefore many things mentioned for the GX460 are probably aimed at competing with the other luxury SUV manufacturers (i.e. BMW, Mercedes, etc.) who already offer these features as standard fitments. I would be very surprised if we actually saw them on an AU spec Prado.
The GX460 already has a number of significant differences compared to what is offered in the Prado in Au including a completely different interior, a V8 petrol engine and under-slung spare (which I hope they do offer as an option in Au).
Don't like the look of the bumper bar. The front of the current 150 does not look as good as the 120, but I became used to it eventually, until the TJM bar was fitted.
Will require a bit of cutting to fit a bar onto that face!
JMHO but really don't like it..starting to look very 'yanky SUV/people mover like. Very Square a bit Dodge like.. Not doubt they'll sell loads of units so maybe in 10 years time I'll like them more when my eyes get more used to them. Still can't go passed the 120, very classical.
