    Roof Rails

yeah I noticed all photos are missing the roof rails. Asked an insider at Toyota and he said they "will" have roof rails.......I dunno.
I was reading one of the spec sheets (wasn't from Aus) earlier in this thread and it said that the new facelift was 40mm lower.
That 40mm could be the deletion of the roof rails??

No spare tyre on the back. I wonder what the fuel capacity will be?

Who is to say the AU model won't have the spare tyre on the back? Everything I have seen so far is from overseas sites. Just as NZ gets the spare tyre underneath now and we get it on the back there will surely be variations for different markets.

It looks like such a Gin Palace that maybe it will come with a space saver spare.

I suspect that a lot of the info out now bears little relevance to the AU spec Prado, I also read that the D4D engine will have the same old 127kW power output we have now and have had since the introduction of the D4D in 2006! That is just sad, get your act together Toyota!

I doubt that, as Euro 5 requirements came into effect this year, which I think means that any new vehicle coming to market must meet that standard. That's supposedly why the new Patrol has no Diesel option, as the current big Nissan diesel is a Cummins engine that is only Euro 2 (US Market)

You two are very naughty. No point speculating until you see on sitting on 33s, 100mm lift and TJM bar work. Or even a normal set up.

Personally, not a fan of it. But then again, not a fan of the 120 or 150 either.... guess I'm just a hater and you know what they say?

I agree. It's funny, in my youth when I owned half a dozen TC & TD Cortinas, I saw the TE model and thought "what an ugly square box". But eventually I bought one and shoe-horned a 289 Windsor into it and ended up loving it to death. When I had my 98 Prado and saw the 120 I thought "what an ugly square box". But eventually I bought one. And now I look at the 150 and think.............
