Rubber USB and 3.5mm Jack Cover

Went to order a new rubber cover but unless I want a whole new stereo system Toyota cant help. Has anyone lost theirs and had to use something else? I could leave a usb thumb drive in all the time and a 3.5 mm jack so sand and crap doesnt get in but would prefer to cover it. Any ideas?

Once again, Toyota are full of shit. Did they even look for you?

Part number from here is 86190-60040 (look at the bit with the 2 in a circle). This looks to be for the whole socket/plug thing not just the cover, so I assume it just plugs into a couple of wires in the console behind it. I tried to get a price from amayama trading but the site appears to be down. Maybe try contacting Toyota and quoting the part number.

EDIT: Amayama is back up, price is USD56.42 plus shipping from UAE (longer wait) or USD76.02 from japan.

I think the part you listed is what the OP is trying to avoid buying. He just wants the rubber cover not the whole plug.

Thanks gents, will try the wreckers. The Toyota dealer explained it as a new stereo system that was her impression but a whole plug assy was also something I was trying to avoid. Cheers

Do you have a wreckers close by?

I had a close call with mine when the rubber cover came completely out. It was a bugger to get back in too but didn't need to replace it thankfully.

So did mine and ended up leaving it off till the service and got them to put it back on, what a pain..................!!!
