  • It's the little things!

Mmmm, had our new 12/12 TD GXL AUTO for 1 month now after trading out of the 10/10 version of the exact same car. Some things are the same but one noticeable difference. This new one seems to be up on the ponies. More turbo noise, 100km less range on the fuel/distance estimate. More pickup with acceleration. Yes it may be new, but the older one had only 55,000 km on the clock and never had the feel this one does. Not up there with the bigger outputs or even with a chip, but does feel more ready to perform. Any one else had this experience or am I on my Pat Malone?
    Cheers, Rick
Had a 2006 GXL, liked it so much bought a 2008 GXL. Liked the 150 so I bought a black 2010 GXL. Liked them even more and bought 12/2012 GXL. Must like Prado

agree, had a 4/2010 now a 4/2012 , fuel economy seems the same.
Has a bit more go, less hesitant, can leave it in D when wanting to overtake, keener to change down. It definitely appears to have more torque earlier.
stepped up the a 200 LC for towing,
but had a 2012 and 2010 150 Prado GXL auto diesel in Graphite with Bridgestone D697 A/T. Dobinson C59-300/325 and Bilsteins. Accessories : two baby seats. Sidewinder`s Dual Battery isolator and rear power outlet kit. Pirana Battery tray, Hayman Reese towbar with Toyota wiring kit and Brains`s guard.
