I've just returned from a 4WD training course and just wanted to get a second opinion. Are the factory recovery points on a Prado 150 safe to use for snatch straps? The trainer inspected all the vehicles at the course and was only happy with the one on my Prado and on someone else's current model Hilux for both front and rear recovery points. Included in the group were a Pajero, Ford Ranger, some Holden ute and an Xtrail. He indicated the Prado's recovery points were welded and bolted twice at both ends.
