  • Warning buzzer and shudder throttle pedal??

    Hey guys,

Took my petrol 150 down the beach today with the old man and his diesel 150. Driving along every now and then there's a buzzer going off and what feels like a shudder above my right foot under the dash, like a spring or something. Tyre pressure was down, running in H4 with centre lock on. I know this has to be a warning of some kind, what exactly is it? Searching the forums I'm leaning towards traction control?

We swapped cars and tried again and both are doing it so it must be normal but would be nice to know!

Side note, back to back petrol and diesel in the sand, no difference whatsoever between the two fuel types, the old man was pretty surprised in the petrol performance. If it wasn't for the diesel rattle he wouldn't have known which was which haha!

Sweet, cheers for that. Missus says it does it for her on hill starts driving from work so may have to get her to rethink her driving style...

If it does it on hill starts, it means she is letting the car roll backwards whilst it is in drive...

Yeah, I tried pointing that out but you can imagine how that went...

That's alright, we can't all be smart

Must be some pretty steep hills. Only time I have it happen is in some of the really steep paddocks if I stop in bad places or when I change from reverse to drive to quickly with the wheels turned.

Not sure about a buzzer, I just get the chattering of the VSC and ABS.
Mine does it if backing out of driveway and into street if I put it in drive a bit quickly and let it roll back a bit. Not a particularly steep street, but it will roll backwards if in D with brakes off.
