Love the qualifiier there Yowie made me laugh.

The seat fabric itself isnt wearing too badly its just the foam has lost its firmness. I will bring it up at the 60k service in a couple of weeks and see what they say.

The leather on my VX started wearing after about 1000km. I thought this was dodgy but Toyota said it is just how the leather will wear. Now 40000km and it is still wearing but hasn't gotten too much worse. I would have thought that it would have been tougher than 1000km though. Very sad when the rest of the car is pristine.

Hmm my 2010 GXL has issues with the drivers seat as well at just 50k on the clock. I will ask the question at the 55k service to see whether my "Toyota warranty insurance" covers the seat. I was told it covered everything that the factory insurance covered....we shall see....

          Hi All,

I have had wear problems on my 120 series. The leather is definitely not a top spec on my model so it sounds like you may have the same on yours.

I have just had mine recovered and posted about it on the 120 forums with before and after photos. I am sure this will be relevant for 150's as well.
