150 gx reversing camera

Hi

Has anyone upgraded the standard sound system in the gx 150 with larger screen and reversing camera.

I'm also interested to hear if anybody has installed a camera in a 150GX.
I am also looking to do this, rumour has it that all the wiring is already there
& nearly only a plug & play effort.
I haven't pulled all the panels off yet to investigate.
Any help or info would be Appreciated.

Yep I've got an aftermarket stereo/GPS/etc unit with screen and I've installed a reverse camera, but did not use any existing camera wiring. See here: http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...-in-150-Series

Yeah I have put in a Pioneer DVD unit. Ran the wiring to the rear for the camera under the passenger side trims and then hooked the power to the camera off the reverse light cables in the rear.

In hindsight it would have been easire to run down the drivers side as the cable run is shorter to the tailgate hinge.

I should add, I dont "think" the wiring is there. I had to drill a hole for the camera wire through the tailgate, and I certainly didnt find anything that looked like the camer set up in tere.

Apparently there is wiring but it is easier to run new down the drivers side and through the hinge side conduit than to try and find it and use it. Grab the reverse light power from the rear quarter when you are in there.
