Hi there fellow Prado owners , my name is Pedr and I'm excited to have joined up and look forward to sharing info and learning a few things on the way 
there's always something to learn in life . We sold our pesky 3.2 BT50 6 months ago after being unhappy with this car and it's problems under warranty . We purchased a used 2010 kakadu V6 pearl white and stock standard except for Toyotas nudge bar that annoyingly blocks the view from the front camera . It's not our first toyota , we have had a FJ Cruiser ( to small for kids ) and a VX 200 series turbo diesel ( to big for wife) so now after 6 months we have found a car we both love to drive and own and importantly it tows our Yamaha 230 SX 23 foot jetboat at 2.2 ton . I'm a mechanic and I have my own little workshop in a service station in Mackay , so I do like to tinker on the prado to make it better . I will be modifying the car over time , for touring and towing . My first mod has been 30mm front spacers to tops of struts and the old spacer under the airbag sensor trick at the rear to give me a 30 mm lift , but I will be changing that later on ! My first real mod in going to be fitting a Whole sale automatics torque converter lock -up switch for towing the boat , so when I'm not so flat out over the next few weeks I will hook in and wire this switch in. Will take some pics and will let you all know how I go and how the car tows in lock-up. I will then be doing the wholesale autos Nomad Vale Body Upgrade . This will improve gear changes and keep heat down and I will be able to lock-up torque converter in 1st gear low range and have engine braking like a manual offroad will post pics of that and the auto service and flush if anyone is interest looking forward to getting to know some other Like minded Prado owners and maybe sharing some outings in the future .
