Double DIN storage compartment

Hi there

I am looking to upgrade my stereo system and intend to completely remove the stereo from the lower space in my 2011 Prado. Can anyone please recommend a storage box to fill the bottom double DIN space? I would prefer one with a door/flap to keep valuables out of sight.

The 150 GX model has the exact box it seems you are looking for in that place, it doesn't have sat nav so the radio is up top above the A/C controls,try calling ur Toyota dealer they should be able to look it up for you on there parts catalogue

Contacted the dealer this morning and they say they have no listing for this item. Does anyone have a parts number for the 'storage box' as highlighted in the attached photo?

The part number you need is 55406-60360 (ex japan). Dealer says he needs a VIN number to confirm but that would be useless if you don't have a GX to start off with. Price is under $400.

You could try looking around a few auto wreckers, or what ever you call them over the ditch. :-)

No luck so far in finding a wrecker who has a Prado 150. Was told in the past that they are far too new...

The 2014 GXL also has that same box as the radio is incorporated into the LCD display

was just looking at ebay aust. and there were a few 150 prados being wreaked, i searched for "prado 150", something like 1,100 items came up but when you scroll down towards the end theres a few ads for window regulators and ecu's, try emailing these sellers they may be able to help.
