Hey mate, did the rack cause any problems with the flex,
I've not had any issues in the last couple of weeks since i installed the lightbar, just benefits:
I think the wind noise in the cabin is less and when i walk on the rack (the most weight on it) there is insignificant movement
There is far less light reflected back into the cabin
I just need to run the isolation switch into the cabin so i can disable the lightbar in the city.
The install of my ARB compressor has been driving me nuts since it was done, finally got around to pulling it out over the weeken and flipping the switch mount and basically tidying things up. Much nicer now.
Over the last few weeks since getting the new 2018 gxl prado
have put supafit denim seat covers, installed BlackVue 650 front and rear cams, eBaY window shades for the kids, and just got a set of sx vortex rhino rack bars for $240 from auto barn, as auto one had a 20% sale and auto barn beat them by 5%! Made the brackets up so it’s easy to remove awning as doesn’t fit in garage..
After loosing one of my original Hella2000 last weekend I have added some new Led lights to the front and a new rack with a light bar to the roof. Big change for the old girl.
