  • I'm ordering a new 150 GXL D4D

    I'm ordering a new 150 GXL D4D and selling my 120.
The new car will have the following

ARB Deluxe Winch bar, colour coded.
    Hayman Reese tow pack.
    5 x BFG ATKO's
    ARB Underbody protection pack
Possibly OME suspension, but not sure if the lease company can get the 50mm lift, or just standard, I'd prefer Tough Dog anyway.
    Thule Pro roof racks.

I already have plans to install a dual battery system, no way I could live without that now.
The ARB Compressor will be moved from the 120 to the new 150.
New UHF radio is on the cards too, but not urgent.
What else should I do/change first up? I will be doing the reversing camera adjustment, so i can see the towball.

    What else?
D4D Prado GXL - 2014. 2" OME lift, ARB Deluxe Winch bar, ARB under body protection plates, ARB EZ Deflator, Weaco fridge, Matsen fridge on slide, BFG A/T's, ARB CKMA12 compressor, Oztrail side awning with LED lights PLUS canvas extension, Lightforce XGT's.. Oricom UHF380, GME AE4017

      Enjoy the new car!
I guess it depends on the lease company, but I didn't have any issue getting the 50mm lift through SGFleet.

What about a winch, as you are getting the winch bar?

Hey MDS, been around, just busy with a promotion at work.
SGFleet confirmed the correct lift part numbers this morning, so while not my deal, OME it is.
The rest will have to wait a bit.

          WATCH THIS SPACE..

What adjustment? I'm certain I can see my toe hitch standard.

Symo, I am getting a Hayman Reece tow bar, so not sure yet what I'll see, but reading up on some threads, and it was an issue for some.

LOL. I know, thats exactly how I feel.
My 120 has never, never let me down. Its a joy to drive, and goes just about anywhere I ask it.

I'm hoping the 150 is as good, if not better.. Only time will tell.
6 years is the longest I have ever owned a car and its only the 2nd brand new car I've had.

T'will be sad day indeed when it goes.

I deserted my 120 just over a year ago.. then bought a Kakadu.. always wanted to get my 120 back.. so I know how you feel
so instead traded the Kakadu in on a GX and started to play with it, now I am happy with the 150..

Just miss my yuppy beer chiller between the front seats!!!

thanks for the answer concerning thule bars. what I'm wondering that on their site, the bars for the 2014 prado 3 door without reling are not listet.
but maybe they will fit .
                        looking forward to see picuteres.
                        thanks a lot,
