Wire to no where, what is it for??

When fitting one of Brains' TG150's a few weeks ago I found this wire coming down through the floor on the passenger side and mounting to the middle side step mount. It go anywhere or do anything so what is it?? Maybe a wire that is used on a higher spec model??

It's a wire for the Kakadu that powers on the side step lights when you open the doors. I think others have tried to activate it but is somehow computer driven.

You will find heaps of extra plugs all over the place if you look around, some for up spec models and some for overseas models.

I thought that that it may have been for something like that, weird that there is no wire on the drivers side. Pity it cant be tapped into.
