Facelift 150 GXL Bluetooth Audio Query

First world problems here...

Has anyone with a facelift 150 GXL noticed that if you have your phone paired via bluetooth playing music (and in my case an iPhone 6), say if you have the audio at 30, the next time you hop in the vehicle, it's reset to 19?

If the phone's connected via USB it doesn't do it, and likewise if I'm listening to the radio it also doesn't do it.

my wife won't let me drive mine so I haven't noticed. I did get to play with the audio via usb which worked fine (as you mentioned). I'll try to do an experiment today to see what happens and get back to you.

with mine the volume appears to reset to the current sound sources last setting.
If the Ipod was on 22 it will be on 22 the next time i select it.
If the radio was on 30 it will default to 30 next time it is selected

Sorry can't confirm that have not used Bluetooth audio, but I think it will be the same.

OK Tricky, my wifes prado is a GX MY14 facelift model. The audio volume seems to work as follows.

-The AM/FM stations will resume at the last set volume, either from audio turned off or returning from another audio source.

-The iphone via USB will return to its last set volume and that appears to be independant of the radio station volume, ie., if I was listening to AM at 30 I can change to my iphone playlist and it resumes volume at 25 (last set)

-The iphone via bluetooth appears independant from both the USB and the radio volumes. I can return to bluetooth from audio off or another source and it resumes at its previous volume.

I did have some times when I would go change from bluetooth to another source and the vehicles bluetooth lost my phone and I had to reconnect.

I also noted that the music app on the iphone seemed to change volume when it was outputting via bluetooth or usb.

Not sure if my tests are much help to you as the behaviour of my vehicle does appear different to yours.

Thanks Baz, I tested again and mine appears the same as yours when changing inputs while the vehicle is on, but when bluetooth is selected and I jump back in after it's been off, it resets to 19.

Strangely, if I turn the vehicle off then back on again while still sitting inside, it appears normal.
