2010 vx traction control problem

hi all I am new to this forum and need some opinions.
We have very recently purchased a used 2010 vx prado diesel . the vehicle is in mint condition and has 98000 k on it and we couldn't be happier BUT
over the weekend , while driving at normal speed on a average bend in the road the traction control came on . brakes engaged , warning light and alarm . the effect was an immediate straightening of course , basically straight lining the corner and then a sudden deflection as the traction control disengaged all over the timeframe of a second or two. since this event it has happened at least 8 other times all on mild bends, all while under the speed limit posted for said bends. tyres are in good condition roads , were dry on 7/8 times . I have tried to duplicate this but it seems to be random. any help would be appreciated

Simsvx, this is the VSC, its automatically detects or thinks your slipping sideways. From memory I think you need to go into a Toyota dealership and have an update run.

I was thinking traction control or VSC . seems to me that the traction control is mainly used straight line and VSC for cornering stability. eg take off at lights traction control steps in to stop wheel spin take a corner too fast and VSC helps over and understeer related issues. I believe ours is an sensor related oversteer problem as the VSC kicks in and straightens out the vehicle to the outside of the corner never the inside. For some reason it must think the rear wheels are stepping out and reacts the same way as you would if you were in a rear wheel slide by steering into it . this is where im trying to lead the mechanics anyway BTW I can replicate the same alarms and vehicle automatic response by a minor handbrake slide
