Thats why I lock the centre diff ..no wheels spinning. Thats what its there for why not use it. Its a bit like Patrol drivers saying "I can drive down the beach in two wheel drive, yes you can but why would you? Its a 4WD put it in 4WD lock the centre diff and 4WD easy.Originally posted by sleeky5 View PostSame here if on a gnarly hill and a rear wheel off the ground it doesn't seem to want to continue. I haven't tried giving it a bit more accelerator as it don't want to launch into the next obstacle. But is that what I need to do. Otherwise it seems to work really well.

As the wheels on the ground were not moving the TC does not activate.
I have been climbing some steps where diagonal wheels were of the ground and the TC has transferred drive to the wheels on the ground. if they didn't the patrol driver was more than happy to winch or snatch me up
disappointment for him assistance not required but thanks for the offer.
But i agree the way the TC works sometimes you think your not going anywhere then it really kicks in
my driving style is light on the go pedal let the car do it's thing.
If that doesn't work then try again with some momentum.
