in the latest recall involving the airbag issue, can anyone confirm if Prado is affected and if so, which mfr year ??

As above, not at the moment, but Takata, and vehicle manufacturers, aren't 100% on which vehicles are affected...I'd stay tuned to the recalls website.

I was thinking that if the 120s was effected then maybe as part of the repair that the dash top would have to be replaced due to the cracks being made worst. Could only try!

the first recall that i heard of ,included the prado back to 2001 . i hope mine gets recalled , they can replace the dash while theyre at it . a mate of mine already received his recall notice on his 2006 hilux .

According to some articles around the web, it affect vehicles manufactured from 2008 and older.
