I recently sought clarification from Rhino whether the 'Sportz' roof racks (the aero aerodynamic type that attach to the factory roof rails) I purchased for my 120 Series would fit the 150 Series when it's delivered in March. This was the emailed response I got today:
'Unfortunately the new 150 Prado has a completely new rack to fit it.
Yes the concept is the same, rail bars, but the bars are longer and the feet are
Shaped differently to allow for a wider rail.
Currently Rhino is under a contract With Toyota for producing the
New Prado racks to Toyota ONLY. This contract expires at the end of Feb 2010.
This means if you want roof racks with your car, you can now order it through Toyota.
Or wait until March and order from any Rhino dealer, as they will then be available.'
I'm not sure if the more solid 'tradie' style bars are any different. Cheers.
