  • The Grab handle above your head

    Hello all 150 owners.

I have a 120 and am getting really annoyed with my grab handles above my head. They don't fold flat like they do in the 150's. Can someone out there measure the bolt centre dimensions for me to see if I can buy some for my 120 series.

Help me please......................my head can't take this punishment anymore!!!!!!!!!!
    Regards,

    Big Fella

ScanguageII, Stebel Truck Horn, Icom 440 UHF Radio and BIlstein/Ridepro Premium Lift Kit.

If you can't fix it with a hammer...... you have an electrical problem.

I simply removed mine. Kept hitting my head on it and I don't miss it at all.

Just let other people who might drive know that its not there. If the jump up and go to grab it the results can be messy!

Not having a handy screwdriver small enough to remove the covers, I measured from the middle of one bolt cover to the middle of the other, and got 19.5cm

Treat that as a ballpark, obviously.

Not a bad idea but Lacey always uses it to get in the car. Could be very messy as you say. Might do that and grab the old video camera

Re: The Grab handle above your head

This has been a real problem with me as well. Once when in Arkaroola I hit my head and went blank for a moment.....not good when on a rough track!

Anyway I have several blank covers from Toyota that I have purchased to to plug the hole, none fit etc. I did see this online that may be an idea for LEXUS models....view image 8...coat hanger

I'm with you Big Fella, why can't they just have a folding handle here
