V6 offroad - how's it go?

Who's had their V6 offroad? How'd it go? Particularly down hill. How's the DAC go?

Apart from engine breaking, how does it compare to the D4D offroad?

Hi Sam

We have a v6 and the downhill speed locked in 1st low is fine, the DAC makes a hell of a racket so we don't use it. We did a run last week with a couple of D4D's and we only marginally faster downhill than them.

Thanks Richo that sounds good.

My NS Pajero only has a low range ratio of 1.9:1 and the Prado has 2.5:1 so hopefully despite the Paj being manual diesel, the V6 auto Prado shouldn't be too much different???
