  • Workshop Manual?

I had a great CD ROM of the workshop manual for the Pajero.

Anyone know of a similar one (even a hardcopy) for the 150 Prado?

    Cheers, Sam.

    Re: Workshop Manual?

The European website has a part number for it, I don't have it here. It is apparently not available for sale in Australia yet though rumour has it that the service departments do have it

      Re: Workshop Manual?

I asked my local dealer the same question as to its availbility..... He did some ringing around and "apparently" it's all done via the internet now..... no CD's or anything due to security and updates...... so they say

I managed to get a CD for my old 100's and was hoping for the same thing with the 150's...... Does anyone know anything different ???

      cheers....

        Re: Workshop Manual?

The part department at City Toyota in Perth said it is avialable at a cost of $500 for the CD.

Was too steep to look at getting it.

Toyota can order the full service and parts manual from Japan. They will need all the information from the vehicle VIN model etc. I have received the CD manual for my 2010 ZR and it is very comprehensive with electrical schematics.
          Cost was about $360.00

Is there some sort of Keycode that is req'd and if u own multiple PC's (ie Laptops), can u put them on all or are u limited to 1 PC ? Is the Manual still in a PDF Format ?

              G'day,
I asked my local toyota dealer and they couldn't find any such beast.

Do you have some sort of part number or such I can quote to them to help get them along a bit?

              Cheers

                Guys,

Has anyone come across any 3rd party service manuals? I'm primarily after a reference for field repairs and common maintenance tasks.. CDROM is probably great for the workshops.

                Regards,
                Ben

                  Re: Workshop Manual?

I have made enquiries about the CD/DVD's and been told that they are not available to the public.

Probably because the Service Centres do not want you knowing too much or how much they don't know themselves when they stuff-up the service on your vehicle.

For what it's worth mate, if I was offering service on a product, I wouldn't be selling a book or CD to tell people how to do it themselves!!
I expect a third party will produce one soon though. Rob don't bother trying to "help" the local dealer. He has access to all the manuals but he's not going to tell you!!

But has anyone produced a hard copy destruction manual yet?
The DVD mentioned above is it still available? (My net where I am does not let me look at some stuff).
