I have an intermittent whining noise come from my Prado. Sounds like a bearing whine coming from under the front left. It comes on for a while quite noticeable when window open and at idle/low speed. There are no other apparent symptoms. Been happening since around 110,00Km. Toyota service manager could also hear it but they were unable to trace it to source.
Has any one else experienced this type of problem ?
Thanks

Note that may be relevant - In Forum Topic About 150,000 km Service I found the comment "My in-tank pump was replaced under warranty at about 40,000. It was intermittently whining its little head off. No performance issues but way to noisy IMO. Shot bearing or the likes I suspect."
