  • High Load_PCT on scan tool

    Hello!
    just got myself a Bluetooth scan tool and was looking at some results…
    I see the Load_PCT is 17/18% (without aircon) after a 10 minute drive. This is higher than normal correct? What are my next steps.

    it anyone also knows about any helpful guides in interpreting scan tools that would be amazing!

    From the 1 KD-FTV Repair Manual - yours are within the expected value range so I wouldn't be too concerned (unless you have another fault/issue that your chasing reasons for).
    Calculated Load
    Load calculated by ECM/

    Min.: 0%, Max.: 100%
    • Idling: 7 to 26%
    • Running without load (2500 rpm): 10 to 20%
    Calculated by ECM Malfunction in which turbo pressure or Mass Air Flow decreases
    Results of real-vehicle check:
    • Ignition switch ON: 0%
    • Cranking: 21.1%
    • Idling (warm up the engine): 16.4% (2 minutes after starting the vehicle)
    • Running without load (2500 rpm): 29.1%
    • Running without load (4000 rpm): 31.3%
    • Driving with the accelerator fully open at 2000 rpm: 95.2%
    • Driving with the accelerator fully open at 3000 rpm: 94.5%
    Diagnostic Note:

    Calculated load = (Final injection volume / max. injection volume at current engine speed) x 100.
