    She has arrived and she's beautiful!

    Brand spanking new Graphite GXL. Picked her up with 8kms on the odometer. Love the new car smell. No extras as yet but need to make a visit to the spare parts division to start kitting her up - seat covers, floor mats etc.

    This is the first car I have owned in about 10 years. Previous to this and many moons ago I had a Suzuki Sierra ... something tells me this is somewhat of an upgrade! I had heaps of fun in the suzi so looking forward to getting the truck out soon to see some dirt!

    Many thanks to everyone here on pradopoint with all the info being shared. A great community.

    I am really enjoying reading all the travel trips and I hope to add to them soon.

      I picked up mine last night with 7 kms on the clock :wink:

      And quess what, mine's a graphite GXL diesel :shock:

        I'm sure you'll continue to love them for a long time.
        Skip, before you go throwing more of your hard earned at Toyota spare parts, double check you can't get sandgrabber mats and other aftermarket goodies which might be more suitable for 4WDing if that's what you plan to use the Prado for!

          It must be the week to pick up a Graphite 150 D4D, two more sleeps till we pick ours up, can't wait. Looking forward to coming back from the dark side :mrgreen: after our last prado was in accident, we have been in a patrol for the last 12 months and after a year of "it's not the same as the prado", common sense has prevailed! I'm looking forward to building her up.

            Congratualtions Skip and Rambo,

            I picked mine up yeaterday as well with 8kms. However it's a Black SX not a Graphite GXL. ARB Delux Winch Bar and Mickey Thompsons already fitted and a long list of extras yet to be added.

                  Congrats all on their new toys i am picking my new 150 gxl up tomorrow and guess what color it is? Thats right you guessed it it is a graphite one as well.

                      Congrats to all. I picked up my new silver D4D Kakdu last Saturday morning and took it camping that night! The dealer couldn't believe it. 21kms on the clock.
                      Ordered my sand grabbers and they arrived on Wednesday - a must have for any decent truck.
                      Next stop is finding a suitable bullbar, spotties and a new UHF.

                      My 2004 Grande was a beautiful ride, but this thing is even better...although has less storage capacity thanks to the underfloor rear seats

                        Picked our Graphite 150 D4D auto up this morning...I'd forgotten how good these things are to drive :shock: . Swapped the dunlops for a set of BFG A/T's straight after we picked her up and will try to fit the redarc brake controller tomorrow. A small dint in the list of mods but it's a start.

                          Hi Aremac, how much did they sting you for the BFG's if you dont mind me asking? I plan to do the same thing and need to know what to exspect before I talk to the local tyer dealers.
