It is so exciting; finance approved for my new Kakadu, and I am still in Cape Town. I will take delivery upon my arrival in Brisbane on 21 Jan. So where are we going that weekend?

Congrats! I've just had my finance approved for the Kakadu too. I'll be picking mine up Feb 8th. I'm getting the tint, paint, rust and leather protection for it too. Can't wait to go for a long drive in it. Make sure you post some pics when you get it.Black 2011 Prado Kakadu TD. Darkest legal tint/uv film. Paint protection, electronic rust protection. Before you get disappointed about things rolling around in the rear of your new 150 take a look at this posting
"Luggage hooks for VX and Kakadu"
and also think about which customisable features you want then tell the dealer to code them BEFORE you collect your new vehicle.Comment

I have a Kakadu now ... sorry fellas, just making you more ansious. You'll love it like I do ..... make sure you put you stereo on surround sound, sit back and feel your ears shake with the loud crystal clear sound !!! The huge reverse camera and front camera .... parking is so easy.

Nope, you are out of luck. I'd love the manuals in PDF but they are not available. I have been down that road with Toyota Australia (my friends...NOT).Originally posted by Jocar83

There is a lot of reading to do and it doesn't all sink in on the first read. At least I RTFM'd. My sales guy admitted to never having read the manuals. That's why I had to show him how to set the two seat memory positions. To make things more difficult they include all of the features in the manuals and then state "if equipped".
I have the Cruise Pack and have lost some of the off-road features but gained crash prediction. I browsed through the manuals again last night and I started wondering if in fact I had KDSS. I had to watch all the warning light checks when I turned on the ignition to see if I did. KDSS lit up temporarily so I guess I have that one.
Whoever designed all of the logic in these Prado's computers must be a real computer propeller head.Comment
