    The only change was the extended mud flaps which are definitely longer than the original ones getting around. Mine was an August build in the end so I missed out on the other changes being mentioned by the dealers.

    Very happy with the car so far. Might even go an get it a little dirty tomorrow (wife is not too impressed about this).
    Can't wait till I can get it into ARB for a couple of days (hopefully in a couple of weeks) and say good buy to about $6k.

        Getting ants in me pants and the camper is gathering cobwebs. Should have our VX on the 1st of November.
        2011 VX T/D auto pearl white, 3" exhaust and [COLOR="#FF0000"]CHIP IT [/COLOR]module and Auber EGT gauge. Daul battery fitted cig and engel plug in cargo area and charge wires run for the camper. Dual DVD headrests and Extinx GPS/DVD unit. ScangaugeII.

            Not too far behind you there Bigben, 22 weeks to date, but from my last conversation with the dealer it should come off production by the end of the week. So fingers crossed with shipping and delivery hopefully before xmas

                Hi All,

                First post. Just ordered a kakadu the other day. Requested 2012 build, was told March delivery. Judging by the delays here sounds like it will be a lot longer. I wondering if anyone recently has experienced quicker turnaround then 20 weeks plus?

                          Congratulations! Did you get anything new and unexpected? Like the extended mud flaps or the privacy glass we keep hearing about?

                            We took it up the Sunnycoast yesterday and got it dirty by way of the cr*ppy weather lol.

                            Yes, the mudflaps are extended and I suspect the glass is more tinted than normal, though I can't confirm it's 'privacy' or not. I might have to pull the manual out soon to check that. the beast was showing 8.6l/100 at the end of that trip, two up, sitting on the speed limits, which is a fair way at 110kmh. Came back through the Valley to give it some stop-start run in stuff. She's very comfortable with a bit more pitch and wallow than I'm used to, but all good. There are plenty of 'fixes' as described in this site and Billsteins and Kings are on the wish list.

                                No idea on Toyota's website update , or new model update other than my dealer emailing me a few days ago
                                "the Prado on order has been delayed & has been placed in this month production with Toyota. ETA I would expect the middle of next month. This will be a Tech Change Model so will be the latest Shape/Model. "
