    Center Row Fridge Shelf

    Spend the day finishing off my new Fridge Shelf, mounted where the LH rear seat used to be. Mounted this way the wife can see into the fridge, saving me the cost of a drop side plus I get the extra space in the rear.

    The underside showing the mounts.


    Fitted with Fridge.


    Free space in the rear, you can just see the fridge.

      Mate I recon about 40 minutes, not that I've done it since I installed it.

      Its one of the best mods I've done and suits our situation. We have a Great Dan x, and she loves the space in the rear now the fridge is in the center.

          Mate what a great mod!

          I would look at doing that too, but with 2 kids an the prado's notorious 'world's worst middle seat' I'll have to leave the arb in the boot!

                Top idea. I have two kids that love tormenting each other so I'm thinking to myself, do the same mod but leave one of the seats (behind the fridge) in so I separate the kids but still have some room in the back (drivers side) to add a half roller draw and everyone's happy. Note to self. Must place lock on fridge.....kid to the rear kid to the right. Love them to bits

                  The fridge is an early 45 ltr Waeco that uses 2 arms/plates that sandwich the fridge in place. It can't be seen as the cover hides it from view.
                  The base plate of the mount is secured to the surface of the carpeted shelf.
                  I'm confident its not going anywhere!
