Move the spare tyre and relocate under the car, that means losing a fuel tank, change the door means losing the unlock buttons bet you wouldn't get any change out of $20k, alternatively sell your and import one from NZ.

With the existing barn door I can open it up and stand on the rear to access my roof rack. I don't think I would like to stand on the tailgate if I had this type of rear door setup

That's a very good point you've made there rptdprado...
- being able to access the back of the car when you cant open the back door (trailer ect..) ... priceless?
If you have a Kaymar on the back, don't you have to swing it open to access the flip down tail gate door and the flip up window anyway?
This would defeat the purpose of removing the existing rear door in the first place!

These Euro models still have barn doors.
