Standard height for a GXL

G'day fellas,

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has a standard GXL that I can take some suspension measurements from. I've ran into a bit of a problem here after getting the tracklander fitted yesterday. I am in the process of working out a 3" suspension lift for the prado and all was going well until I got the rack fitted yesterday. It appears that I may not have enough clearance with the lift to the supporting beams of the carport. If it was my joint I'd just lift the roof a little but I don't think BHP will appreciate me messing with their house.

What I was hoping was that it someone out there has a standard GXL with no mods and around a 1/4 tank of fuel (diesel) could they help me out by posting some measurements from the bottom of the rim to the top centre of the wheel arch. At present mine sits at 780mm in the rear with standard suspension. If I can work out what the standard height is I can then start calculating lift and clearance. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Took these on the weekend as I have ordered new suspension for mine and they seem to line up with others on here. About 2/3 tank of fuel, rear seats removed and duel battery in the front.

Before
LF – 745, RF – 750, LR – 785, RR – 795

Hi Chris,
I am getting my suspension done next week so had taken some measurements, stock standard, no bar or anything. The front Left is 765, rear Left is 785. Just as an aside, with the steel bar and winch fitted (plasma rope) the front has dropped to 745, can't wait to get the new springs.

Awesome guys thanks for your replies. I've worked out that I have 100mm to play with including tyres and suspension. I'm looking at a 3" lift. But will have it adjusted to sit level front and rear at 2.75" of lift over standard. I'm hoping to have a 90mm increase maximum so that I have 20mm of clearance between the top of the rack and the roof beams, stupid low carport!!!
