  • Anyone in Sydney - 150 GXL D4D w/ Old Man Emu

Just wondering who on here in Sydney has a 150 (pref a gx/gxl/vx) that has upgraded to Old Man Emu. I'm looking at suspension upgrades on my 150, and dont want to take the plunge until I've felt the outcome.

Hopefully someone has a similar setup to me with 150 D4D, ARB Bar, Winch, Dual Battery, and has upgraded to Old Man Emu Suspension. If so could i possibly organise a drive to check out the difference?

Additionally anyone that has gone for a Old Man Emu setup of recent on a 150, could you care the share your price (PM if you dont want to state the amount publicly).

    Thx!!

    Hey Ryzz,

Had OME on mine for almost 5 months, very happy with it. Ride and handling better on road (had comments from friends on how comfortable the ride was) and much, much better off road, all up no complaints.

I think they were heavy fronts and 0 - 300kg rears.

      Ryzz

This is the same setup I have gone for on an Altitude.

The ride is far better than stock & flex off road is great.

Did a medium to hard trip at Mt Discovery and did not even break into traction control (no mud).

I combined with MTZ ATZ 4 Rib 265 x 70 x 17 and these are great as well.

Easily as capable as ex D3.

Went for heavy front springs & medium rears.

Still a little firm in the front as they have not supplied winch and bar yet due to ARB delays.

Little pricey but got dealer to supply & fit the lot.

They passed on some of their discount which offset the LCT hit

$6K for lift, colour coded sahara bar c/w fog lights, snorkel & warn M8000lb winch.

Welcome to adrive but I am in Melbourne.

      Regards
      Cheers
