What about the raw 4x4 stuff that supercentre/tigerz11 sells?
Seems a bit too cheap/good to be true, but then I notice a few 4x4 places fit the raw gear.

If it seems too good to be true...it probably is. I don't know anyone with any experience regarding the Raw 4x4...
      Happy to hear some stories

Yeah its a strange one, I haven't really heard anything about them good or bad.
But from what I can gather, the kits that they do must just have some generic cheap springs as they don't name the manufacturer anywhere.

Okie Dokie, here's where I am now. I have received quotes from all the players I had short listed.

Price was weighted 40%, Installation (Y/N) was rated 20%, Warranty was rated 20% (Broken into Years and kms offered), Australian Made was Weighted 10% and My "good Feeling" was rated 10%.

Im happy to be corrected on whether any of the manufacturers are/are not Australian - "H" means that some of the work is done in Aust (Design/engineering)
Im also happy to be corrected on Warranty Periods.

It is a Vicroads requirement that when modifying a vehicle fitted with VSC that you do not adversely effect the VSC operation. A lot of folks don't worry about modification laws, however I am a conservative old fart and had no wish to give my insurance company an excuse to not payout on any claim. Oh, and another reason was a friend had another brand of suspension and went around a corner and his 150 just wanted to go in the opposite direction to where he was steering. Dunno what caused it but I have my suspicions

There is a thread in the Tyre section about this! Some guys after fitting 265/70/17's had stability control issues, when they go around a bend the stability control would kick in and try and drive them straight.
Turns out its a software issue and needs to be taken to toyota to get calibrated and re flashed or whatever.

I note you have EFS ranked highest overall Splisy.

Have you even spoken to a Prado owner with EFS? - Not trying to start something but I cant recall ever hearing about a Prado owner running EFS gear?
Are there any PP'ers with EFS?

Don't recall it being mentioned earlier - have you asked any peeps to take their (lifted) rig for a drive?
                Cheers

I did do some research and the handful of times EFS cropped up on this forum the feedback was generally good. A mate of mine and his old man are running EFS under their Rangers and have nothing but praise for it.

I am happy to hear feedback from anyone.

I'd ask add a column for build quality. Do the welds look good, are the shocks finished well? Are the components cheap?

I have added a new column to my comparison titled "Common on Prados"

                      Weightings:
                      • Price - 40%
                      • Warranty (Yrs) - 10%
                      • Warranty (kms) - 10%
                      • Australian Made - 15%
                      • Common on Prados - 15%
                      • Good Feeling - 10%

I have removed whether or not it was installed from the scoring, as I am 99% certain i want to get this installed by a Pro.

Look what it has done to my scores.

FWIW there's a prominent forum member here who sells and installs Dobinsons kits for less than any of the kits you have on your list. I am getting mine done next week. I am happy to PM his details if you like and you can discuss his options with him.
2010 150 gxl D4D with ARB delux bar, towbar! Custom DIY drawers, rhino HD bars, 2" Dobinsons, platform rack, IPF lights and BFG AT2 and extras

I am well aware of said member. And Dobinsons are on my list, however there's no local supplier/installer so they haven't made the cut of my attached image.

Re EFS, Mate of mine has EFS on his 120. I am pretty sure they're EFS coils and shocks/struts. He likes it and works well for towing his boat and camper.

I tell you this now...it pays to shop around.
OME kit installed in Hoppers Crossing - a place I do visit relatively often - is $300 cheaper than Albury - for the same gear.
I think this will make it a clear winner for me.

Wouldn't Hoppers Crossing be about 3 1/2 hours from Albury? Thats a day out of your life and fuel both ways to save $300? Not worth it in my book!
