Recommendation - Cooper Tyres dealer

Hi All,

Looking to possibly pick up some cooper ST Maxx tyres (265/70/17) next week and though I would put a quick post in to get some recommendations on dealers for the best price and service.

Hopefully some of you can let me know what sort of deal you got, I am in Melbourne Victoria (South Eastern burb's).

best advice would be pick up the dog and bone and ring all the dealers in the area and see what the prices are, and see if they can do any better when you want to buy a set. cheers samo

picked up a set of st maxx from jax tyres in penrith (sydney), i got 5 for $2000 fitted and balance, excellent tyres, they are a little noisey at first after 1000-1500km noise has come down a fair bit, no problems with them on wet roads, excellent off road, i found if you call the dealers and tell them what you want and are prepared to pay $2000 flat they will do the deal, just make sure you get genuine coopers as some small tyre shops import fakes, hope this help with you purchase.

Fake Coopers? Never come across this before... This must be a "South of the Border" thing...

fake coopers are about, more so the atr and highway tyres, not sure if there is fake st maxx, make sure tyress are stamped made in usa and are bought from a cooper dealer to make sure they are genuine
