Need advice and a spare for Simpson

Andrew are you sure that the 17 x 7.5 120 GX steel wheel will rub? I mounted one of mine on the front (rear is no problem at all) on the weekend and while it was tight it looked ok. Just clears the UCA and I am sure that if I had the Pirellis fitted to the steel wheels they would rub. I didn't get a chance to go over lumpy stuff to check so I might have to do that. I need to work out what to do because I have 4 steel wheels as the trailer wheels (also with 275/65 17 albeit BFG A/Ts fitted) and two spares. Happy to have the illegal extra spare in an emergency but if it doesn't fit I will pass them onto a new owner and fit other wheels to the trailer.

Just wondering if you have practical experience or just going off the offset and legality point of view.

I haven't tried a 120 wheel on a 150 but yes its definately not legal (not such a big deal in the desert). I am pretty sure I have read on hear that they have issues rubbing on the front but are probably OK on the rear, I am happy to be corrected if someone can test fit one.

From the point of view of Pips, I would say hang out for a 150 wheel, at least it will match, is the same offset and can be used on the road legally if need be.

Pips, if you're still looking and happy to take your chances with a 120 steel wheel, there's an ad just come on gumtree for 2 120 steel wheels with used cooper s/T's. $150 each or both for $250. No idea if that's a good price though. At the Sunshine Coast:
