Hi all
I know this info is around but I'm suffering from info overload.
I have just bought a 2010 gx white auto TD. It currently has the standard 6.5 rims with a set of 245 65 17 ATs but I want to improve the overall stance while still maintain its on road manners where it will be 90% of the time. The last 10% will be a mix of camping, fishing, shallow creeks and general adventure. Total klms on the car per year will be under 10,000 as I have a company car.
I'm thinking a set of GXL 7.5 inch wide rims powder coated black and a set of ATs around the 265 70 17 mark with the view of an eventual suspension lift of 2 inches.
What are people's thoughts. Will this combo give an appreciable improvement over standard when in the bush. Does it still behave on road. Can I fit the rims before I lift the suspension.
Cheers
