Have you looked at the posts about running 33" and 35" tyres? Lots of posts already here and the short answer is yes they will fit but you won't be able to take it off the jacks. The standard tyre is a 31" tyre and these are a 34" tyre so even if you could they won't be legal.

As Rob said is the 75 series correct? or did you mean 285/70/17 which would seem more correct?
Either way I think the answer is NO, the 70 series tyres will fit, and you can drive, but they will rub a fair bit. BIL put 285's on his standard Prado but only for a week or so before swapping them out for a more realistic size tyre.
If you want to change rims and suspension and get it all engineer approved then either would be possible, assuming they exist, but if cheap tyres is the motivation then that's not going to work out to well.
