I live in the West Indies and have a Prado which was imported here from Japan - it has 3 point belts in the front two seats but only lap belts in the rear seats. Is there anyway I can put 3 point belts in the rear seats? The standard of driving out here is appalling and I'm not happy with the potential damage that lap belts can do in an accident. All help gratefully received.

I looked into a replacement seatbelt for my 2nd row seats and was told only new replacements are legal (ie. no 2nd hand or from a damaged vehicle)
Check the legal requirements where you are... but otherwise...
I'd call into a car wreckers and have a look at a Prado with rear 3 point belts and see how they're attached for a start.
Make sure your car has the right bits to attach them to.Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!
