Hi, I'm getting ready to buy a good multi-function Sat nav, the kind that you can get off road mapping for etc, as well as video feeds to see what's going on out back
The dash pods I've currently seen are more for mounting radios and frankly not pretty.
Rather than the option of having to make one from scratch is there anything out there than will hold a double din unit that has reasonable hood for shading from glare? Like accessory market or even something off another brand vehicle
I could of course whack one in the dash but I like the idea of having this device in the corner of my periphial vision whilst driving, and having it mounted makes it look more permanent and not as likely to get pinched.
Although with some thieves nothing's a barrier if they really want something off your car.
