Side Steps and Side Bars

I had a bit of a fun in Talaganda State Forest the other day and ended up taking off the front left flare - peeled off like a banana skin but no damage to the body work or the flare - and took a bit of damage to the alloy factory side step - bent both the step and supports.

I think I can fix both but am interested to know if anyone has fitted steel side bars and rock sliders to a 90 series and if so where did you get them from?

Unfortunately no one makes them off the shelf.

You should however be able to find a fabricator to make them up. Off memory I was quoted about $700 for a pair of rock sliders and $150-$200 per scrub bar.
Will be investing in that for sure come tax time.

There are people that have them fitted but you can't buy them to fit the 90 series

A mate in Fyshwick has a pipe bender he is gonna give me and it is going to come down to time and money for when I can get in to build some for myself. I will be looking at the possibility of running them all the way from the bullbar for tat extra side protection.

AJ120 is making side steps to suit the 90 and 120 series.

Thanks - I have PMed AJ120 and it looks like he will be making rock sliders / side steps for the 90 sometime this year

They ought to stand up somewhat better than the originals

Yep, have my first batch of 120 sliders back from powder coaters, should be ready to go out early next week, hoping to borrow a 90 series from a mate in the next couple of weeks to make a prototype set and a jig, once that is done i can start production. i already have a fair few orders for 90series sliders, will take a few months to get current orders made and sent out.
