CV boot replacement

Do you know that Toyota do a replacement boot, that you can fit without removing anything, not too sure how it works or actually seen it, but have heard good stories about it.

That's the Toyota split boot kit. My mate had called and they said that it's only for outer boot, not for inner boot. Anyone has used it to replace the inner boot?

If you remove the CV when changing it make sure you replace the seal thats at the end of the diff housing, these tend to suffer damage when you remove the cv, its sort of their expiration. Do this along with greasing generously the cv under the boots and changing diff oils so youll kill three birds with one stone (although its technically only one bird) but itll save you future headaches.
