Which dexron 3 atf for A343F?

What would you suggest? Mobil, Castrol, something else? Fully sintethic or mineral should be fine (found in local store Mobil dex3 but it's mineral)? Guy from automatic tranmission workshop recommended mobil.

I know this thread is old now but for future reference... I use Nylon fluids in all my cars with positive results. I'm happy with the price as well.

The trans does not require a synthetic as its supposed to be serviced on a fairly regular basis.

Most lube guides will tell you it holds 2litres. Don't listen... Without am aftermarket cooler only the radiator type it will hold about 9litres.

Technically the filter does not need to be replaced. As its a steel mesh style a good clean out of the vehicle will suffice. I still change mine for simplicity sake. Since I don't like to silicone the pan back on I just buy the service kit with a cork gasket and filter. The filter also has two small round cork gaskets which get replaced when you change the filter. If cleaning it out only... Make sure they are in good condition

Removing the pan is not that difficult if you know what to expect... There is no way around these next two steps... So just deal with it!

First, on the petrol at least, you will need to remove the crossover pipe of the exhaust system. Sorry, but its gotta come off. Soak the buts in your favourite elbow grease first. It'll need them.

Secondly, the swaybar to body mounts need to be removed so you can pull the swaybar out of the way. Take this opportunity to inspect the swaybar bushes and replace if required. I dubiously replaced mine with Nolathane... Am so happy I did. Awesomeness to my bodyroll.

If you go my path and use the cork gasket... It doesn't hurt to roll back underneath a couple of days later and snug the 10mm pan bolts back up. Steel pan and alloy trans means a little bit of expansion and contraction will occur which means they may appear to be loose and start to weep. Once snugged back up... You're all good.
