Hi all, wanted to share another of my problem (have posted a few ones in diferent topics) about an issue with my transmision after i had my engine replaced for another 1zkte (2005) in good shape.
So the problem is intermittent , when ever i hit the brake and make a fast stop and the rpm go down, i feel like if the engine for a moment goes to neutral shift and i have to accelerate a few times so that i get the car moving again. So it is like it goes back to (D shift after 2-3 seconds of hitting the acceleration pad.
I discard and issue with my trans , because it was not doing that before the engine replacement. the trans in my prado is 12 years old yea but i don't think that is the issue. must be something related to the throttle or the trans sensor maybe ? i don't know
please help
apart from that the transmission moves good, shift timing is good, no shift jumps etc
