I joined PradoPoint recently and this is my second post here, I have been contributing with my limited knowledge in discussions on www.toyotadiesel.com where I have been a member for some years.
I have been searching for ECU Pinouts for Toyota Part Number 89661 - 60520 and Denso Part number 175800 -1683. The ECU is from JDM 1997/1998 Toyota Prado TZ which is quite different from the 1996 Prado (175800 - 1614). The difference is in the 16 pin connector. The wiring in my has been made for based on the 1996 Prado wiring diagrams. The Engine starts beautifully, the idling is far better than the older ECU but will not accelerate any further than 10 kms/h. There is a marked difference on the component board in the connections for the 16 pin connector.
