Cruise Control

Is it possible to retrofit cruise control to a 90 Series Prado? Was cruise control ever available as an option for the 90 Series? If it was an option, how hard would it be to fit it if I was able to source the bits from a wrecker?

I'm NZ based and have a Jap Import 1996 Prado TZ Diesel. It doesn't have cruise control but I'd like to try and have a go trying to fit it.

Any and all comments or suggestions would be very welcome.

from memory it was not a toyota accessory.
could be wrong, but don't think so.
if it was they would have asked for $$$$$$$
most went with aftermarket cruise, and from my experience
with the aftermarket cruise stuff, it's ok, but not what i would say great.
slow to operate etc
